Misti Ushio to Join Harris & Harris Group

We are pleased to announce that Misti Ushio has agreed to join Harris & Harris Group, Inc., as a corporate Vice President and as an investment Associate in our New York City office.

Ms. Ushio is joining us from her current position at Columbia University, where she manages the nanotechnology and materials science invention and patent portfolios. Previously, from May 1996 to May 2006, she was employed by Merck & Co., Inc., most recently as a Senior Research Biochemical Engineer. She is a graduate of University College London (Ph.D., Biochemical Engineering), Lehigh University (M.S., Chemical Engineering) and Johns Hopkins University (B.S., Chemical Engineering).
